MY Liberica
Besides Starbucks, its sometimes hard to find a decent coffee joint in JB, as the coffee culture is unlike Singapore, whereby you get cafes everywhere.
Many a times, I drink coffee not just to stimulate my senses, but also to take a short break and watch the day goes by.
This newly start-up cafe, loacted in Taman Molek, a relatively upmarket estate in JB, specializes in all types of coffee, with a huge Taiwan influence. This is due to the fact that the boss studies in Taiwan, but guess what? prior to his studies in Taiwan, he dosen't drink coffee.
Besides all the nice decor, what so special about this cafe?
firstly, they offers different brewing methods of coffee
1) Extraction coffee like esspresso,
2) Siphon coffee
3) Ice drip coffee
4) Luwak coffe beans
Secondly, they do their own roasting of coffee beans to ensure quality of each roast is consistent.
lastly, they have their Own plantation in Kulai that grows the coffee beans...yes, you heard me correct...basically the coffee you drink is a direct source of this cafe's owner's efforts.
By the way, you can catch me there on Monday's afternoon 2 to 4 pm range..this is like a check point for me every week.
