Restoran Hwa Sun // 华山烧腊店

Hwa Sun's Cantonese Roast, is one of those dishes that is famous or shall i say, infamous for all the wrong reasons..Before going to this place, I was told by many of my JB friends that this outlet has the most outrageous "service" the lady boss n boss, would often shout vulgarities, and throw things at each other..some reckon it as a "after meal performance" but what truely make this shop a legend is indeed their roast pork, or Char siew..many describe it as melt in your mouth..I have a hard time finding this place as that was the first time I'm in Masai, and this shop is not facing the main road..

Manage to take a shot of the frontage..but was challenge by the lady boss ...full conversation's transcript at the Chinese version. anyway, I didn't manage to eat on the spot..as they are almost closing by 4 pm..manage to take away the last Char siew back to Singapore..

Here is the verdict

Char Siew：4／5 Delightful, one of the better ones I tasted in JB ..besides Ah Meng's but not THAT 


aggerating till melt in your mounth..but the balance taste is what i like..not too sweet.

Shao Rou or Roast Pork：3／5 Not tha fantastic, tasted much better ones in Ah Meng's

Price：18 rm with rice..felt a bit rip off。

Service：1／5 hmmmm go experience at least once yourself to understand

Overall：2.9/5 Not really that worth the effor to travel to Masai for Char siew..but if you happened to be there..give it a try, so at least u completed a "to eat list"

华山的唇枪舌剑！！
话说，久闻Masai有间闻名遐迩的烧腊店。但店主的脾气更加是臭名昭著。哈哈哈。

由于这是小弟我第一次，去到Masai，所以有点迷路。

花了2钟头才找到 华山。
一到目的地，当然，先拍个照。以方便记录。
谁知一进门就，
老板娘（LPN） 你做什么拍照？？是不是要放上网？！
我：没有啦，做记录而已。
LPN：为什么要做记录？（好像审犯人）
我：地方不容易找。还有叉烧吗？？
Lpn：还剩一点，6rm，要加烧肉才够两个人吃。
我：ok...(就在这时，一个auntie走进入）
auntie: 还有叉烧吗？
Lpn: 你不好彩，给前面的买去了。
我：heng...(暗爽）哈哈哈
Lpn: 哎呀，她的店也有卖叉烧，不过跟人拿的。那里像我们，全部自家做的。
你的生意还好吗？
auntie:还可以啦。
Lpn: 说真的，抢走你生意，真不好意思。有时忙到做不来，我们有些顾客跑去你那边吃，还帮了你们。哈哈。
Auntie:...........
华山的＂精神＂我算领教过了，果然，对自己的食物很有信心。
不过，到底好不好吃呢？？
个人口味评语：

叉烧：4／5 真的很不错！肥瘦适中。没到入口即化的程度，（jojo形容到太夸张了，哈哈）论调味，不会太甜，决对，可称得上是这店的代表作品。
烧肉：3／5 略微逊色。偏咸，皮不算太脆。


价钱：2／5 ，18rm两人份，有种被砍的感觉。


服务／态度：1／5 哈哈哈


整体：2.9/5 如果没吃过，可以试试，如果，吃过，不介意华山＂精神＂的话可以再吃！哈

Restoran Hao Hao // 好好烧腊专门店

Hmm..was introduced by a member for this shop in terms of the roast duck..although i not a huge fan of roast duck..but i do have certain requirements when eating one. firstly the skin must by crispy, next the meat must be juicy..should be too dry...its hard to find something that fit this bill..so far I only manage to eat it in Hong Kong..As for this shop's duck meat..skin is still not crispy enough for my liking..but i would consider it not too bad for JB standards..By the way, i have yet to try Ya Wang in JB downtown..

鸡同鸭讲？？


在此感谢Chen Xing Rong的无私分享, 强力介绍这家位于皇后区的烧腊店的烧鸭。使小弟我有某名的冲动要吃烧鸭腿。
不知道各位有没有看过鸡同鸭讲，这电影?
这电影里有一幕，老许（许冠文饰）要吃鸭腿之前，一定要先和鸭腿＂沟通＂，而且一定要用手吃才过瘾，的情节，总会让我每当吃鸭腿时想到。
当然，我们没有笨到和鸭腿讲话，酱无聊。哈哈。
二话不说，还是说食物吧。
食物：3.5/5 
肉不会烤到太干，咬时肉汁会流出。皮方面还不够脆不过，比起我在别家吃过的，已经很不错了。味道方面，不会过咸，可惜，好像少了什么香料，吃不出，象我在香港吃的烧鸭那一种味道。
